Everybody has a financial situation. This place will tell you that you need a co-play. When your insurance covers everything, they take your copay. You have to fight with them. Tell them that you don't need to pay a copay that the insurance is takes care of everything. They make you pay it if you don't know about this, as some parents may not know that you may not need to pay a copay during visits due to the health insurance that you have. That means that this company is taking thousands from people

Strawberry pediatrics is a great doctor's office. My children have been going there for over five years, and the staff is Amazing! They are kind, and very professional. You will not be disappointed.

As a parent, I take my children’s healthcare very seriously, and this clinic has repeatedly failed in one of the most basic medical standards: clear communication, active listening, and informed consent. Since enrolling my children in daycare, they have experienced recurrent illness, which I have raised as a concern at multiple visits. I understand that exposure is common in infants and toddlers; however, what is not acceptable is the consistent lack of assessment, explanation, and follow-through during visits. Despite the clinic often not appearing busy, appointments feel rushed and transactional, with little opportunity for meaningful discussion, questions, or education. If a parent is paying out of pocket at the time of service, there is a reasonable expectation of appropriate diagnostic consideration. At no point were tests such as RSV, influenza, or COVID discussed or offered to rule out causes before treatment. Instead, care defaulted to over-the-counter recommendations and antibiotics, without documented discussion of alternatives or risks. Equally concerning, I clearly informed the provider that my child was scheduled for surgery the following week and required medical clearance. This information was seemingly disregarded. There was no acknowledgment, no follow-up questions, and no discussion of how current illness or prescribed medication could impact surgical clearance. This raises serious concerns about whether critical information was heard, documented, or considered at all. Most concerning, my child was prescribed an antibiotic and subsequently developed a painful yeast infection, a well-documented and foreseeable side effect in infants, particularly those with sensitive skin. There was no counseling, warning, or preventative guidance provided regarding this risk. A simple disclosure and anticipatory guidance could have prevented unnecessary discomfort and distress for my child. In pediatric care, education, informed consent, and attentiveness are not optional — they are the standard of care. It is particularly troubling for a clinic that identifies as Christian-based to deliver care that feels rushed, impersonal, and devoid of compassion. Faith-based care should reflect patience, diligence, and advocacy, especially for children who cannot advocate for themselves. While the nursing staff is polite, the overall experience reflects a system focused more on throughput than on individualized pediatric care. This is not a model I can trust with my children’s health. Due to these ongoing concerns, I am withdrawing my children from this clinic immediately. Parents deserve transparency, education, and diligence — not after-the-fact complications or overlooked considerations that could have been reasonably anticipated and addressed. I sincerely hope leadership reviews their approach to active listening, patient education, risk disclosure, and pediatric standards of care.
